UCLA BrainSports, and Dr Christopher Giza opened their doors to boxing legend Evander Holyfield and members of the UCLA boxing team on Saturday, April 28th.

Many of the 15 doctors who were present gave us a seminar on the latest developments in and the prevention and treatment of concussion.

Afterwards, they put the Champ through many of the tests they use to determine brain health.

In return, Evander shared stories with the group about his experiences in the ring and schooled the boxing team on what to expect if they decide to turn pro.

We were so grateful to these skilled and dedicated physicians and scientists for giving us their time and continuing their journey in hopes of keeping our athletes healthier and more in control of their wellbeing and futures.
