Jill Diamond, WBC Cares Chair represented the WBC at the first gathering of young policy makers for the United Nations Agents of Change Seminar.
It is inspiring to see so many young people dedicated to humanitarian causes.
When you reflect that women were not legally classified as “people” until the mid 1900’s, unable to enter colleges or receive benefits as widows, the impact these women make is remarkable.
As the month continues, there will be more discussions and hopefully, they will be actionable.
In our own way, the WBC is a microcosm of all the UN strives for, as we are a group of many nations who put aside our differences for the good of all.
Together we are stronger, is the motto and the glue that binds us.
