On December 15th, 2023 at Malvern Town Hall in Melbourne, Australia, DJMC Promotions staged WBC Cares first Boxing Exhibition called Charity Showdown.. Promoted by WBC Cares Ambassador Dustan Rozairo and also, Cares Ambassador Roshan Nathaniel.
The main bout will feature, representing India, KS Vinod, former Mr. India and a certified Krav Maga Trainer and Kick Boxer facing off against Shobi Joy, representing the USA, Secretary of Kerala Professional Boxing and KickBoxing Association and Wrestling Champion.with the respective corner side roles being fulfilled by Coach Mr. Athul Satheesan and Manager Mr. Tony Thekkevallyara Raju. Both athletes are known philanthropists as well as highly skilled athletes.
Also on the card is Cares Ambassador and WBC International Champion, Urvashi Singh defending her title against Kudakwashe Chiwamdire. This should be a spectacular fight.
The WBC and WBC Cares are grateful to all those involved in the Charity Showdown, the first of its kind, and to all our warriors who have exhibited so much heart and commitment.
This will be the first in a series of fights featuring great boxing and charity.
