Before the end of the year, WBC Türkiye, represented by Oksana Semenishina and Serdar Avci, visited little Ruzgar Savas, only 5 years old. Although his leukemia was in remission last year, this year he has faced the disease again and is receiving chemotherapy.

Ruzgar, son of Nazan Savas, a ring official at the Turkish Professional Boxing Commission, received gifts and financial support from WBC Türkiye. This act of solidarity demonstrates how the boxing community can come together to provide hope in difficult times.
A symbolic fight with his family
During the visit, Ruzgar starred in a special match against his brother, with his mother as a referee and his father, a boxing coach, in his corner. In the end, Ruzgar was crowned the winner and received the WBC Türkiye belt, symbolizing his family’s ongoing fight against cancer.
