SOMOS LUZ FOUNDATION AND WBC CARES VISIT THE INCAN
WBC Cares, together with the Somos Luz Foundation, visited the National Cancer Institute (INCAN). During this heartfelt activity, champions Mariana “Barby” Juárez, Humberto “Chiquita” González, Pipino Cuevas, Isaac “Tortas” Bustos, and Víctor Rabanales shared moments of hope, unity, and solidarity with patients and their families.
In addition, Mariana Juárez expressed with deep emotion: “You are the true champions, the ones who teach us to give our all in life. You are admirable, and we thank you for allowing us to be here for this moment.” Her words highlighted empathy and inspiration.
Moreover, patients’ joy was evident as they recognized their sports idols. “It’s Chiquita, there’s Pipino, and behind her is Mariana! What happiness to have you here, today is my lucky day!” shared Jorge, a patient attending his checkup, full of excitement and gratitude.
Likewise, Isaac “Tortas” Bustos gifted commemorative Canelo vs. Crawford caps, saying: “This cap is from one champion to another.” This meaningful gesture symbolized mutual respect and admiration, creating an uplifting atmosphere of motivation and encouragement that resonated with everyone present.
