A Night of Heroes and Heart in Los Angeles

Los Angeles lit up with unity and compassion during the “Night of Heroes”, where WBC, LAPD Boxing, and TORKLAW honored first responders who lost their homes saving others during the devastating LA Fires.

With powerful amateur bouts, heartfelt tributes, and performances by the LAPD Mariachi Band and La Sonora Dinamita, the night blended action, music, and emotion. The energy, amplified by DJ sets and community love, made it unforgettable.

Families, officers, and neighbors filled the Commerce Casino to the brim, all moved by the strength and stories of those who served. The punch machine and photo booth brought fun, while donations brought real help.

Young boxers from local gyms lit up the ring, showing not just talent, but hope for the future. Their presence reflected how boxing builds more than athletes—it builds character, discipline, and community.

The evening closed with a tribute to fallen hero Samuel Riveros, whose sacrifice reminded us why we fight for one another. In unity and remembrance, the Night of Heroes became a night none will forget.
