WBC Cares: Inspiring Dreams and Building Futures in Mexicali
This past weekend, WBC Cares proudly participated in a heartfelt event organized by the Mexicali Boxing Commission, led by Orlando Castillo. In collaboration with Cleto Reyes, we reaffirmed our commitment to the border community by supporting young boxers striving to achieve their dreams.
Providing Tools for Success
With the special participation of Elizabeth Reyes and Guillermo Moreno, representatives of Cleto Reyes, boxing equipment packages were delivered to 35 gyms in Mexicali. This gesture aims to strengthen the spaces where young athletes train, dream, and work towards becoming tomorrow’s champions. Because we believe that every punch in the ring is a step toward a better future.
A Message of Hope and Awareness
The event also featured the invaluable participation of Rocky Herron, who, together with the Live Without Drugs community, delivered an inspiring talk about the importance of drug awareness. This powerful message of hope and determination served as a reminder that sports can be a pathway to transform lives and overcome challenges.
Changing Lives Through Boxing
At WBC Cares, we know that boxing is more than just a sport; it’s a tool to change lives. This event in Mexicali showcased that with unity and commitment, we can build stronger communities and offer real opportunities to those who need them most.
United for a Purpose
Thank you to the Mexicali Boxing Commission, Cleto Reyes, and Live Without Drugs for their collaboration, and to everyone who participated in making this event possible.
Together, we continue to build a legacy of support and hope.
