KO Bullying: Inspiration and Awareness at Temachtiani High School
WBC Cares Brings its Message to Youth
As part of the WBC Cares campaigns, the talk “KO Bullying” was held at the Temachtiani Day Secondary School, in Álvaro Obregón. More than 80 second grade students participated to learn about the impact of bullying and how to deal with it.
Ambassadors of Change
Beka Romero, “KO al Bullying” ambassador, spoke about what to do in bullying situations and the consequences for those who are involved. Additionally, champion Dante “Crazy” Jardon inspired students to share how boxing allowed him to follow a positive path and achieve his goals.
Interactive Dynamics for Students
The session ended with a round of questions and an activity in which the students practiced boxing punches. Thus, I was able to face their fears and share moments with the ambassadors of the program. As a souvenir, each student received a mousepad with the WBC logo.
Special Thanks
Thank you to Temachtiani Day High School for opening its doors and supporting this cause. We will continue to bring the message of WBC Cares to more young people, promoting respect and improvement.
